Kafana is a Turkish heritage which means a place where a coffee is served in a commercial way. Just coffee! The fact that "Crazy Serbs" imply various attached contents under the term "coffee" is a completely different thing.

A group of lovers of kafana, kafana life and melodies it is followed by came upon an enthusiastic idea to start a project which deals with, in their point of view, a very important theme field. We are going to narrate about our own experience in, at the beginning, Niš's kafanas, but we certainly hope to come across kindred souls across the country so as to represent this national phenomenon in the right light.
It takes a lot of experience in kafana life as well as knowledge about kafanas in your town in order for you to become a correspondent of our portal. A test drive is also necessary, that is, choosing a representative sample of kafanas in your town where the portal crew can be able to make a judgement about your experience. The portal crew defray expenses for themselves so that you don't have to worry about that :-)
We hope to raise the quality of kafana and bohemian life at our favorite places by uniting all our efforts.
